Badminton : Sad day for Malaysia (Part II)

Malaysia lost to England 2-3 in the Sudirman Cup.

TheStar ( Malaysia were beaten in the two crucial men's and women's doubles matches and England thus avenged the defeat in the Commonwealth Games mixed team final in Melbourne last year.

Malaysia headed for defeat against England after world number two Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong failed to deliver the winning point expected of them, losing to World Championships runners-up Anthony Clark-Robert Blair.

The pressure was on world number seven Chin Eei Hui-Wong Pei Tty to clinch the tie for Malaysia in their first-ever meeting against Gail Emms-Donna Kellogg. But the English pair turned heroines for their side, saving three match points to chalk up a 22-20, 18-21, 23-21 in the deciding match.

Meanwhile, Clark-Blair gave credit for their win over All-England champions Kien Keat-Boon Heong to Malaysian coach Tan Kim Her, who only took charge of the English doubles players last month.

“He has taught us the new ways in training adopted by the top Asian players. It has already made a big difference not only to our fitness but also to our mental approach to the game.”

Spare Your Change: Help Aisya...

Here's the latest on Aisya:
Little Aisya went for surgery to create eyelids for her last December, using tissue from her lips. Unfortunately, the operation has backfired, because her eyelids have fused back together.
Doctors have decided (this is according to Aisya's mum) that there will be no more surgery for Aisya for another 2 years, as surgery is difficult for her young (and small) body and immune system. So it would be another two years before they re-attempt to create eyelids for her, and later, try and fit her with artificial eyeballs.
That is the time when the family will need financial help the most.At present time, donations is solely for the family to survive on a day-to-day basis as Aisya's dad has lost his job (he's the sole bread-winner), and if there is any left, they can start a small account in case of emergency, and Aisya needs surgery (let's say they suddenly get a call to say they found someone who can help her see)...
At the present moment, with present technology, it looks like little Aisya will never be able to see, because the little girl has only whites of the eyes.Donations can always come in kind. For example, you could offer to sponsor Aisya's diapers for a year. Or if you're some boss, you could offer her dad a job. Or if you're a broke college student like me, you could help by spreading Aisya's plight on your blogs, or simply remember her in your prayers.
I did not ask Aisya's dad for his account number as I am afraid some unscrupulous people out there might somehow misuse that for their own personal gain. Thus, all cash donations will have to be in the form of a cheque under the father's name.
Write the cheque to: SHAHIDAN BIN YANG GHAZALI, and send it to Aisya’s home at:
45, Persiaran Putra 5,
Bandar Baru Putra,
31400 Ipoh, Perak

Shahidan's Phone: 017-5586069;
Hayati's (Aisya's mum) Phone: 017-5746317.
I brought this case to my college's (Inti International College Penang) student body; they recently passed the tin around and we got about RM 2 K, which will be handed to Aisya's family shortly.

Quote Of The Day (Memento)

-Memory can change the shape of a room; it can change the color of a car. And memories can be distorted. They're just an interpretation, they're not a record, and they're irrelevant if you have the facts.

(Leonard Shelby, "Memento", 2001)

-I don't even know how long she's been gone. It's like I've woken up in bed and she's not here... because she's gone to the bathroom or something. But somehow, I know she's never gonna come back to bed. If I could just... reach over and touch... her side of the bed, I would know that it was cold, but I can't. I know I can't have her back... but I don't want to wake up in the morning, thinking she's still here. I lie here not knowing... how long I've been alone. So how... how can I heal? How am I supposed to heal if I can't... feel time?

Disebabkan udah tonton, bolehlah saya buat kesimpulan filem ni bodoh. Kalu tak tonton tak bolehle kata filem bodoh. Betul tak?

Sebelum memulakan ulasan, saya ingin melontarkan secebis rasa simpati terhadap anda para peminat filem Melayu semua. Anda memang malang kerana selalu diperbodohkan.

Setelah 4 orang mamat ni bertemu di rumah gangguan mental, maka timbullah cerita emas tinggalan Yamashita Tomoyuki semasa Perang Dunia II dulu.

-adegan meludah, kentot.
-adegan kencing dalam hutan, lawak malam jumaat.
-mengeksploit orang kenet untuk buat lawak.
-adegan Wahid pegang tetek Nora Danish (ops! ini saja aku tambah).
-lawak bodoh Digi, prof Kamsani, dll...

Kalu nak senarai semua sekali ada banyak lagi, kalau ada masa aku buat lain kali.

Ciao!

Emel Kejayaan

Saya Boleh! Saya Boleh!".
...
2: Zon Selesa
...
Semua orang mempunyai zon selesa.

Selamat Tahun Baru!
