Inflation 5%, Increment 0%

Just received a letter from HR that this year increment is 0.78%
Wow! That's a big improvement from last year 0% increment.
Heard that some people received more than 5%.
Don't know how many days more to go...

AT&T Malaysia has several vacancies for the suitable candidates. The jobs are to be based in Cyberjaya.

Office Move (II)

Office move for AT&T employees (from Wisma Shell to Emerio building) was completed on 28th of July...


..everything is new...new building, new working space, new pantry, new locker..new..new..


.. but I still miss the old place.. hu hu..

Office Move (I)

Last Saturday we had a first batch of AT&T staff that were moving from Wisma 1 Shell IT International (SITI) building to a new building rented by AT&T.

The rest of us who are still working at Wisma 1 Shell building will be moving on Saturday 27th of June. That's it! We will be completely AT&T staff working from AT&T premises. Access to Wisma 1 Shell will be denied starting 1st of July. Access cards, Metro parking card, locker key and other related stuff that belong to Shell will have to be returned by 30th of June... wonder how's the working environment will be in the new office...

Kalau nak tau, inilah jadual kerja saya untuk bulan Disember 2008. Saya hanya akan bekerja 14 hari. Baki 17 hari saya akan bercuti aka lepak2, surf internet, facebooking etc. Yahuu!!! Best nyer :)

Goodbye Shell!

Starting from July 1st, I'll become employee of AT&T Inc.
Previously I worked for Shell IT International (SITI) for two years.
I like working for Shell and really enjoyed the working environment in Shell. A lot of good memories. And good learning experience too.

But Shell top management have other things in their mind.
So they outsourced their IT employees worldwide: in Malaysia, Netherlands, UK, US and everywhere. AT&T won the $1.6 billion contract to provide advanced telecommunications services to Shell .

I'm part of that outsourcing thing, and I'm outsourced to AT&T.
For those you guys out there who are in the similar situation... Welcome to AT&T.
